A man from Louisiana was injured in an accident in Douglas County on Wednesday. 83 year old James Booth suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit an embankment and a fence. Booth was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on highway 14 about 10 miles east of Ava.
