An independence County parolee was arrested and an Arkansas State Police Special Agent was injured after a foot pursuit. Authorities say that 41 year old Rodney Monroe Lee ran from officers and during a pursuit Special Agent Greg Tebbetts fell severely injuring his leg. Lee has been charged with possession of meth with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to inject, ingest or inhale meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing on foot which resulted in serious physical injury to a law enforcement officer. His bond has been set at $100,000.
