Two people were injured in a one vehicle accident Monday morning in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol says that 24 year old Matthew Taylor of Hartville suffered serious injuries and 70 year old Ronnie Williams suffered moderate injuries when Williams drove off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened on highway 76 about 7 miles east of Ava. Both men were taken to Cox South in Springfield.
