Authorities in Baxter County have released the name of the victim in the stabbing death Tuesday in Gassville. 72-year-old Sharon Gayle Adler was allegedly stabbed to death by 21-year-old Amber Lea Runau. Runua is being held in Baxter County Detention Center with bond set at $1 Million. Authorities say that Adler has been a babysitter for Runua and her older sister Anna who is serving a 20-year sentence in the Arkansas Department of corrections for criminal attempt to commit first degree murder. In 2018, Anna Runua and another girl were accused of luring a man from Salem to a public launch ramp at Buzzard Roost where Anna allegedly stabbed the man 7 times.
