A man from Benton has been arrested in Izard County on several felony charges. 36-year-old George Eric Neal was arrested after he allegedly assaulted and threatened to kill a woman. Neal is charged with second degree domestic battery, first degree terroristic threatening, felony possession of firearms by certain persons, felony aggravated assault of a family or household member, felony theft of a firearm, and four counts of felony endangering the welfare of a minor. His bond was set at $50,000 and he will be in court September 16th.
