A man from Seymour was arrested after a pursuit in Douglas County. The Sheriff’s Department reports that Steven Bennett was arrested on several charges after he fled from police in a vehicle then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot then hid in a tree stand. Bennett was tracked by Deputy Harley and K-9 Amigo. Authorities say they believe that Bennett fled because he had an active warrant in Wright County.
