An Independence County man has been arrested after a fight over a missing gun. 35-year-old Shaun Matthew Davis was asked about a missing gun and allegedly became upset. The victim then pulled a pistol and pointed it at Davis. Davis then allegedly left and shot a gun twice as he was leaving, hitting the victim’s truck. Davis is charged with felony theft of property, and misdemeanor criminal mischief and misdemeanor third degree assault on a family member. His bond was set at $5,000.
