Daily COVID 19 Update For Arkansas & Missouri

Howell County Health Department reports that an additional forty-six cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to five hundred and thirty-five. Currently, there are one hundred and fifty-seven known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and fifty-seven, four are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Thirty-two of the new cases reside in West Plains, two live in Willow Springs, nine live in Mtn. View, two live in Peace Valley and one lives in Pomona.

The Oregon County Health Department reports three additional cases of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the year to date total to one hundred and four cases. Currently, there are thirty known active cases in the county. One of these cases was due to an exposure to a positive case. Two of these exposures are thought to be community acquired or no known contact.

Wednesday afternoon the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 1,191 new COVID 19 case with 7 new deaths and that there are now 989 hospitalized. Bringing the YTD Totals to 106,587 Cases and 1,739 deaths.

The Arkansas Department of Health reported 606 new COVID 19 cases with 7 new deaths and that there are now 387 hospitalized. Bringing the YTD totals to 72,219 cases and 1,010 deaths.

Wednesday Governor Asa Hutchinson was asked if he sensed there has been an uptick in COVID deaths

Locally in Missouri, there have been 57 Cases in Cater County, 143 in Douglas County, 535 in Howell County, 104 in Oregon County, 95 in Ozark County, 137 in Ripley County, 70 in Shannon County, 206 in Texas County and 175 In wright County.

Locally in Arkansas there have 226 cases in Baxter County, 111 in Fulton County, 962 in Independence County, 138 in Izard County, 331 in Lawrence County, 67 in Marion County, 361 in Randolph County, 173 in Sharp County and 293 in Stone County.
