A Winona teen was injured in an accident west of Birch Tree Saturday. The Missouri State highway Patrol reports that 19-year-old Mason Banks suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and struck a tree. Banks was flown to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened on old highway 60 about two miles west of Burch Tree Saturday morning.
