Yesterday the Missouri State High School Activities Association announced the football district assignments for this season, and Thayer will be moving east to District 1. Also in the district will be Hayti, Caruthersville, Chaffee, Crystal City, Malden, Portageville and St. Vincent.
The West Plains Zizzers will compete in Class 4 District 5, with Marshfield, Hillcrest, Rogersville, Monett, McDonald County and Carl Junction. Webb City was moved to Class 5.
