A man wanted in Douglas County has been arrested in Ozark County. 46-year-old Doyle Wayne Shelton Jr. was arrested Wednesday night around 10 pm at a house in the Theodosia area. Shelton had been on the run for two weeks after being charged with assault and burglary. Shelton surrendered peacefully. He was taken to the Douglas County Jail. Douglas County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by deputies from Ozark County.
