One of the two men who escaped from the Shannon County Jail by overpowering a jailer has been captured. 25-year-old Cameron Kennedy was taken into custody Monday night at a residence in Ellington and the truck the two men took has been recovered. Authorities continue to search for the second man, 20-year-old Hunter Vest of Elsinore. He is described as 5 foot 6 inches tall weighing 120 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should call the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 417-469-3121 or the nearest law enforcement agency.
