Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Shannon County. The Highway patrol reports that 32-year-old Zachary Vermillion of Fremont suffered moderate injuries and 26-year-old Patsy Pruett of Mountain View suffered minor injuries when Pruett pulled into the path of the vehicle that Vermillion was driving. After the vehicle collided, Vermillion’s vehicle then traveled off the road and overturned. Vermillion was taken to Mercy St Francis Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened on U.S. 60 at Mo 99 in Birch Tree.
