West Plains City Council held a special meeting recently and discussed a couple of items including a community accessible broadband project in the city. West Plains City Public Works Director, Jeff Henshaw presented the project to the council

The Council later approved bid for the project from SMC of Springfield for Cameras and Hardware at $11,575.35 and from SHI for switches and hardware at $17,580.60.
The Council also accepted a bid from Botosh INC for $16,289.36 for air purifier respirators for the Police Department.
