Daily COVID 19 Update for Arkansas & Missouri

Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 32 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 830. Currently, there are 168 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 168, 15 are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 21 reside in West Plains, 5 live in Mountain View, and 6 live in Willow Springs.

The Oregon County Health Department reports four additional cases of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the year to date total to one hundred and sixty-four cases. Currently, there are forty known active cases in the county. Two of today’s cases had a known exposure to a positive person. Two of them are thought to be community acquired or no known contact.

 

Thursday the Arkansas Department of Health reported 1,124 New COVID 19 Cases with 15 new deaths, bringing the YTD totals to 84,821 cases and 1,384 deaths.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported Thursday that there were 1,799 new COVID 19 cases in the state with 10 new deaths, bringing the YTD totals to 129,397 cases and 2,144 deaths.

Locally in Missouri there have been, 100 cases in Carter County, 225 cases in Douglas County, 830 cases in Howell County, 156 cases in Oregon County, 134 cases in Ozark County, 139 cases in Ripley County, 135 cases in Shannon County, 358 cases in Texas County and 399 cases in Wright County

Locally in Arkansas there have been, 383 cases in Baxter County, 186 cases in Fulton County, 1,162 cases in Independence County, 260 cases in Izard County, 471 cases in Lawrence County, 105 cases in Marion County, 448 cases in Randolph County, 242 cases in Sharp County and 367 cases in Stone County
