
Howell County Health Department reports that an additional 60 cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1039. Currently, there are 234 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 234, nineteen are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Of the new cases 45 reside in West Plains, 4 lives in Mountain View, 9 live in Willow Springs, 1 lives in Peace Valley, and 1 lives in Caulfield.
The Oregon County Health Department reports eight additional cases of COVID-19 in the county. This brings the year to date total to two hundred and one cases. Currently, there are sixty-nine known active cases in the county. Five of today’s cases had a known exposure to a positive person. Three of them are thought to be community acquired or no known contact.
Locally there have been 209 cases in Fulton County, 262 in Sharp County and 420 in Baxter County.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported Wednesday that there were 1,068 new COVID 19 cases in the state with 36 new deaths, bringing the YTD totals to 135,651 cases and 2,236 deaths.
Wednesday the Arkansas Department of Health reported 809 new COVID 19 cases with 13 new deaths, bringing the YTD totals to 88,880 cases and 1,483 deaths.
Other local counties; Missouri-Carter 112, Douglas 235, Ozark 201, Ripley 150, Shannon 151, Texas 393, and Wright 444. Arkansas-Independence 1,241, Izard 296, Lawrence 508, Marion 110, Randolph 491, and Stone 373.
