A Man from Cotter has been charged with assaulting a deputy and a jailer. 28-year-old Matthew Dunn was arrested after a traffic stop in Yellville, where Dun allegedly spat of a law enforcement officer. Then while being held at the Marion County jail he again became belligerent and spat on a jailer. Dunn faces charges of felony aggravated assault on a corrections officer and several misdemeanor charges. He will be in court on Wednesday.
