There Were Several Accidents Across South Central Missouri This Past Weekend

A West Plains man was injured in a one-vehicle accident Friday evening north of West Plains. 47-year-old Bryan Maloney suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the pickup he was driving. The accident happened on highway 63 about two miles north of West Plains. Maloney was taken to Cox South in Springfield.

 

A man from Illinois was injured in a UTV accident on Cloud 9 Ranch Sunday afternoon. The highway Patrol reports that 64-year-old Gale Braub suffered moderate injuries when 64-year-old Deborah Braub attempted to go around a curve, traveled off the road and hit a tree. The accident happened around 1 Sunday afternoon about two miles west of Caulfield on Cloud 9 Ranch. Braub was taken to Ozarks Medical Center.

 

A Mountain View Missouri man was injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning in Shannon County. The Highway Patrol says that 76-year-old Frank Austin suffered moderate injuries when a pickup driven by 58-year-old Darlene Nicholson pulled into the path of the car that Austin was driving. Austin was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 60 at highway FF.

 

A man from California was injured in an accident in Shannon County Saturday morning. The Highway patrol says that 27-year-old Mark Baugher suffered moderate injuries when drove off the road and hit several trees then overturned the car he was driving. Baugher was taken to OMC. The accident happened on highway 19 about 2 miles south of Eminence. Baugher was also cited for driving while intoxicated.

 

A teen from Hartville was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Oregon County Friday afternoon. The Highway patrol reports that 18-year-old Madelynne Boyer suffered only minor injuries when she pulled the vehicle, she was driving into the path of a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Alexis Lowe of West Plains. The accident happened on highway 142 at county road 249, Boyer was taken to OMC.

 

A 10-year-old West Plains girl was injured in a two-vehicle accident south of Poplar Bluff. The Highway Patrol reports that the 10-year-old suffered minor injuries when a truck driven by 27-year-old Bobby Panky of West Plains slowed to check on a stranded motorist and a car driven by 28-year-old Elizah Conway of Corning, swerved and struck the rear of the truck Panky was driving. The injured girl was taken to Poplar Bluff regional Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S 67 about two miles south of Poplar Bluff.
