A public hearing is planned for this Friday morning at the Carter County courthouse in van Buren. The Ozarks Foothills Planning Commission will be there to discuss the submission of five applications for community development block grants to get generators for the County’s nutrition center, youth and community center, and a medical clinic, along with a proposition for upgrading and installation of a siren system. The meeting begins at 9 am at the Courthouse in Van Buren.
