A man from Summersville was injured in an accident Saturday afternoon north of Summersville. The Highway patrol reports that 33-year-old Nathan Shafer suffered serious injuries when he drove off the road and overturned the SUV he was driving. The accident happened on Highway JJ about a mile north of Summersville. Shafer was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
