A man from Ava was injured in an accident in Christian County on Monday. The Highway patrol reports that 71-year-old Tommy Roberts suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit a rock wall and overturned the pickup he was driving. Roberts was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on U.S. 65 about a half mile south of Saddlebrook.
