Two Ava residents were injured in an accident west of Springfield Thursday evening. The Highway Patrol reports that 72-year-old Vonda Morrison suffered moderate injuries and 86-year-old Jimmie Morrison suffered minor injuries when Jimmie Morrison pulled the vehicle, he was driving into the path of a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Tori Retzloff of Springfield. Retzloff suffered minor injuries also. All three were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Missouri 413 about three miles west of Springfield.
