Authorities in Izard County are reporting the arrest of a man from Sage for shooting another man. 32-year-old Matthew Garner allegedly went to a home on Knob Creek Road in Melbourne and ambushed and shot Kyle Cantrell who he used to work for. Garner was charged with attempted capitol murder and first-degree battery. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
