A man who is a suspect in a murder in Alabama was arrested in Randolph County. Thursday the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an armed robbery in progress west of Pocahontas. The caller game authorities a description of the vehicle the suspect was in. the vehicle was spotted and a pursuit began west of 62 toward Imboden. The suspect’s tires were spiked at the 11-point river bridge, but the suspect to continued and a pit maneuver was used forcing the vehicle to stop. Ryan Smith was arrested and was wanted in Mobile County Alabama in connection with a homicide. A female in the vehicle with Smith, Shelby Hendrix was also arrested pending felony charges.
