West Plains City Council Hears First Reading Of Mask Ordinance & Vote 4-1 For It

The West Plains City Council met in special session this afternoon for the first reading of a mask ordinance for the city. After a lengthy and heated discussion, the council voted 4-1 in favor of the ordinance. With Councilmen, Johnny Murrell and Josh Cotter, councilwoman Jessica Neese and Mayor Jack Pahlman voting for it and Councilman mike Topliff voting against it, the Council will meet on Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 for the second reading and for a final vote on the ordinance.
