A man on probation was arrested Saturday after a conservation agent cited him for illegally harvesting a deer. 41-year-old Michael Johnson of Ava was arrested and taken to the Douglas County jail. He was on probation making it is illegal for him to possess a firearm. He is being held on the probation and parole warrant pending charges.
