A man from Bee Branch was arrested in Izard County on rape and sexual assault charges. 28-year-old Christopher Powell was arrested on a warrant after a female reported that when she was a minor Powell had performed sexual acts on her. Powell is charged with felony rape, and two counts of second-degree sexual assault. Powell is being held on $500,000 bond.
