Four teenagers were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon in Texas County. The highway Patrol says 19-year-old Xavier Mitchell of Aurora, 17-year-old Torianna West of Carthage, 17-year-old Clayton Highfield of Aurora and a 13-year-old juvenile from Aurora all suffered minor injuries when Mitchell drove off the road and hit a tree. West and Mitchell were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield and HIghfield and the juvenile were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
