5 people from West Plains were injured in a two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on highway 160, 2 miles West of West Plains. According to the Missouri State Highway patrol, 47 year old Joan Talbert turned into the path of a Toyota driven by 18 year old Angel Williams. Both drivers received moderate injuries. Also injured were 17 year old Page Williams, 60 year old LIge Bush and a 10 year old. All were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. That accident happened around 5:45 Sunday afternoon.
2 teenagers had minor injuries in a one vehicle accident just after noon Sunday on county road 8870, 5 miles South of West Plains. 17 year old Gabriel Williams ran off the road and the vehicle overturned. A 16 year old passenger was also injured, both were taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
