Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash Monday morning near Brandsville. 24 year old Dalton Raymond of Freeport Florida and a passenger in his vehicle, 20 year old Jose Pacheco were both seriously injured when Raymond lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered bridge, just north of Brandsville, hit the guardrail, then crossed the centerline and hit another vehicle. Both men were thrown out of their vehicle and both were flown to Springfield area hospitals for treatment. The driver of the second vehicle, 34 year old James Martin of Thayer refused treatment at the scene. That accident blocked traffic on highway 63 for over an hour.
