A man from Mansfield suffered serious injuries in an accident Sunday morning north of Macomb. The highway patrol reports that 25-year-old Patrick Jackson was injured when he drove off the road, struck a ditch and overturned the pickup he was driving. Jackson was ejected from the pickup and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on highway Y about 3 miles north of Macomb.
