Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Howell County Wednesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old Julie Yarber of Eminence suffered serious injuries, 21-year-old Breanna Yarber of Eminence suffered moderate injuries, a 5-year-old boy and 7-year-old girls from Eminence both suffered minor injuries and 29-year-old Caitlin Nicholson of Birch Tree suffered minor injuries in the Accident. The accident reportedly happened when 38-year-old Matthew Ricks of Campbell Missouri lost control of the car he was driving on a rain covered roadway when it hydroplaned and traveled into the path of the SUV driven by Julie Yarber. Julie Yarber was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield the rest of the injured were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. The accident happened on U.S. 60 about a mile west of Mountain View.
