The Missouri State highway Patrol arrested a man from Fordland Sunday afternoon in Douglas County. 27-year-old Patrick Simpson was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in a jail, possession of less than 13 grams of marijuana, prior offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, prior offense, two failure to appear warrants from the Rogersville PD, and several traffic violations. He was taken to the Douglas County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
