A woman from Ava was injured in an accident Tuesday morning south of Seymour. The Highway Patrol reports that 51-year-old Lynnette Mozzy suffered minor injuries when she lost control of the vehicle, she was driving on an ice-covered roadway, went off the road and hit a fence. The accident happened on highway Z about 8 miles south of Seymour.
