A Cave City man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run Monday Night in Independence County. 50-year-old Danny Day was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident with injury or death. The body of 64-year-old Rita Brooks of Batesville was found near the roadway on highway 167. Day is being held on $100,000 bond.
