Formal charges were filed by the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on Sunday January 3, 2021 against 45 year old Darren L. Break of West Plains for a domestic assault which occurred on New Year’s Eve.
Break, who was arrested by West Plains Police Department officers on Sunday January 3, 2021, was formally charged with the following:
One Count each:
Domestic Assault 1st Degree
Sodomy or Attempted Sodomy 1st Degree (Aggravated Sexual Offense)
Kidnapping 1st Degree (Facilitating a Felony-Inflicting Injury-Terrorizing)
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Three counts:
Armed Criminal Action
An arrest warrant was issued today January 4, 2021 with a total bond set at $250,000.00 dollars cash/corporate surety.
