The Missouri State Highway patrol reports there were 4 traffic fatalities over the New Year’s Holiday Weekend with no drownings or boating fatalities. The 78-hour counting period began at 6 pm Thursday December 31st 2020 and ended at 11:59 pm Sunday January 3, 2021. This year’s traffic statistics include 458 traffic crashes, 97 injuries, 4 fatalities and 135 DWI arrest. Last year there was 323 crashes with 1 fatality and 140 injuries and 58 DWI’s.
