On January 15, 2021 Newt Souder, age 19, from Wasola, Missouri was arrested in Ozark County on two outstanding Douglas County Warrants. The first was a felony warrant for Tampering with a motor vehicle that was investigated by Douglas County Deputy Cpl. Wallace on March 11, 2020 when Cpl. Wallace recovered a vehicle that had been stolen out of Ozark County. Bond was set at $1500 cash or surety.
The second warrant was for failure to obey a Judge’s order after he was arrested by Douglas County Deputy Michael Schupbach after he was found in possession of Methamphetamine and prescription pills.
All subjects should be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
