The Missouri State West Plains Grizzlies opened the season last night with a big loss to Coffeyville Community College 86-46. The Grizzlies were led by Jesse Zarzuela with 8 points, Tre Breland and Ankit Choudhary each added 7 points. The Grizzlies were outscored 41-22 in the first half and 45-24 in the second half.
The Grizzlies are back in action Friday at home with Arkansas Tech JV
