A Man from Ava was arrested by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department on a pair of warrants. 35-year-old Donnie Brown was arrested on two extraditable warrants, one from Ozark County for abuse or neglect of a child, with a $10,000 bond and the other warrant was from Christian County on misdemeanor charges with a bond of $1,000. Brown also gave consent to search a vehicle where officers found a white powdery substance that field tested positive for meth, along with paraphernalia, so charges are expected in Douglas County.
