In the Final Round of the Big Springs Conference Tournament at Alton
The Alton Comets took the Championship beating Bunker 57-40, The Comets were led by Chanler Sisco and Brandon Dewolf with 18 points each. Sisco and Cainen Heck were named to the All-Tournament team.
In the girls Championship, the Ellington Lady Whippets rallied from 12 down to defeat Eminence 75-69
In the Boys third place game, Van Buren beat Ellington 60-56
In the Girls third place game, Alton edged out Van Buren 62-61, Evin Montgomery led the lady Comets with 14 points.
Also, on Saturday the Thayer Bobcats improve to 16-1 on the season as they beat Willard 54-45, Landry Pitts led Thayer with 21 points.
