A man from Kimberling City was injured and faces drug charges after he was involved in an accident in Howell County Tuesday. 62-year-old John Venerable suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a tree. Venerable was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, hydrocodone and felony possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on highway 63 about 5 miles south of West Plains.
