A man from Ava was arrested Monday at a residence outside of Ava. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports that 40-year-old Jason Hesterlee was taken into custody and transported to the jail on a 24-hour hold, after he was found in possession of meth. His bond was set at $15,000.
