A Woman from Rolla was killed when the car she was driving slid off the road and into the river. The highway Patrol reports that 86-year-old Virginia Lomax was killed when her vehicle slid into the Current River on Highway K at Akers in Shannon County. The accident happened around 1 Saturday morning.
