A woman from West Plains was injured in an accident Monday afternoon southwest of West Plains. The highway Patrol reports that 27-year-old Britney Thompson suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 41-year-old William Howell of West Plains was on the wrong side of the road and hit a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Dustin Hawkins of West Plains head-on. Thompson was a passenger in the vehicle that Howell was driving. The accident happened on county road 6310 at county road 6760.
