Two Ripley County residents were arrested by the Highway patrol Wednesday morning on several charges. 30-year-old Robert Jones of Fairdealing was arrested for felony tampering with a motor vehicle, felony possession of a controlled substance meth, failure to display valid plates and no seat belt. He was taken to Ripley County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. 25-year-old Nicholas Lucia of Doniphan was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance meth, on a Clay County warrant for felony failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and no seat belt. He was taken to Ripley County jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
