Congress was back in session last week and voted on a measure which would expand the Civil Rights act to include protections for those who are transgendered. Congressman Rick Crawford of Arkansas’s First District expressed concern that this legislation would step on the religious freedom of others.
H.R. 5, The Equality Act ended up passing the House Wednesday with a 224-206 vote.
