A man from Texas was arrested on charges from Baxter County. 24-year-old Jose Lozano of Gilmer Texas allegedly stole a gun and was manufacturing meth a t a hotel in Baxter County. A maid allegedly found an AR-15 and suspected meth pipes while cleaning the room. Lozano faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia for the purpose of manufacturing meth, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of ingestion of meth, theft by receiving and possession of firearms by certain persons. He was transported from Texas to the Baxter County Detention Center and is being held on $50,000 bond.
