2 Ellington Residents Were Injured In An Accident In Reynolds County

Three people were injured including two Ellington residents in an accident in Reynolds County. According to the Highway patrol 20-year-old Angela Webber of Ellington and Kyle Allen of Piedmont both suffered serious injuries and 19-year-old Korbin Cook of Ellington suffered minor injuries when, 20-year-old Bradley Couthren of Ellington drove off the road and overturned the vehicle he was driving. Webber was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway D about two miles south of Highway 21. Couthren was charged with felony DWI causing serious physical injury, leaving the scene of an accident, felony driving while revoked, and careless and imprudent driving involving an accident. He was taken to the Reynolds County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. The accident happened early Thursday morning.
