A West Plains man has been arrested for allegedly threatening his ex-girlfriend with a knife. 54-year-old Douglas Eugene Newton is charged with felony first degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Newton is being held on $50,000 bond and will be in court on Tuesday March 9th.
